About MPSC

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a Constitutional Body established Under Article 315 of Constitution of India which provides a smooth and efficient functioning of the Government of Maharashtra (GoM) by providing suitable candidates for various Government posts and advise them on various service matters like formulation of Recruitment Rules (RR), advise on promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions etc. Maharashtra Engineering Services exam is a paper-pen based State Engineering Entrance Examination directed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) for recruitment of Assistant Engineer in Water Resource Department, Construction Department, Water Supply Department and Health Department of the Government of Maharashtra.

Engineering Services in Maharashtra is broadly classified into two categories, namely-
1. Maharashtra Engineering Services, Grade-A
2. Maharashtra Engineering Services, Grade-B

MPSC Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra PSC is all set to invite the Online Application forms for the State Engineering Services Exam 2018 tentatively in March 2018. The Advertisement will consist of Application submission dates & end date for forms. The Candidates who meet the below stated Eligibility shall Apply for the Engineering Service Exam 2018 .

Reserved Categories’ Candidates – Rs. 323/-

MPSC Engineering (CE/ ME/ EE) Service Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates obtained a Degree in Engineering (Respective Branch) from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central Legislature or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
Age Limit:
Any Candidate belonging to General Community should have attained Minimum 21 Years but must not exceed 33 Years of Age (Tentative). Relaxation in Upper Age Limits to all other Reserved Category Candidates

MPSC Exam Pattern

Maharashtra Engineering Services consists of two exams:

1. Maharashtra Engineering Services Prelim Exam
2. Maharashtra Engineering Services Main Exam

Maharashtra Engineering Service Prelims Exam Pattern 2017

The Department of Maharashtra Public Service Commission will conduct the Maharashtra Engineering Service Group-A & B Exam in two papers namely Prelims & Mains. The MPSC Maharashtra Engineering Service Prelims Exam will consist the Objective Type question of 200 marks. In the examination question will be consisting of Marathi, English Language, General Studies and Engineering Aptitude Test.
A total 200 question will be ask in MPSC Engineering Service Prelims Examination.
Duration of examination will be 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
